I too am a Frink descendant - my 3rd gr. grandmother married a Allen (my maiden name). Also have many more lineages that relate to Stonington.

Greetings from San Diego, CA! Happy to find this site! I'm always browsing for Frink family history. Contributed updates in Peggy Humphries 2nd Ed. Looking for "distant cousins". Close cousins include Russell Gray and Verna Cole of Sterling. My dad is their mom's brother. Parents came to Calif. when I was very young. I'm mostly interested in the old Frink farm. Any current info?

Lucretia Frink, daughter of Samuel Frink and Prudence Wilcox, is my gggg grandmother. She was born in 1761 in Stonington, CT. She married Henry Barber and moved with him to Brookfield, NY, and then to Scott, NY as part of the Seventh Day Baptist migration. She died in 1850 in Scott. Her brother Jarius moved to Chenango County, NY. I have found her birth and parentage in Peggy Humphreys's Frink Genealogy, but
no other information. I think she was married in 1782 in North Stonington, but I understand the records from that time are gone. Does anyone have more information? I am happy to share details of her descendants.

I am a great-great granddaughter of Willis and Costalora Frink.
Lille A. Frink maried Josephus (Vareen - orginal spelling on license) Vereen. Their youngest daugheter, Mamie lee is my grandmother.
Do you have any information on Willis and Costalora - I am very interested to know if they were slaves, mul. or desended from the waccamaw tribe.

Hey,
I am new to this research thing...but I too am seeking whatever info is available about African-American history of the Frinks in southeast North Carolina. Surely, we cid come from the Brunswick County area. Great-grandfather was Sampson Frink and great-grandmother Carriar Roundtree.

Does anyone have stories about the Frinks of Stonington?
In my ancestry I have many early Frinks - John (m. Grace Stevens), Samuel (m. Hannah Miner), Samuel (m. Margaret Wheeler), Isaac (m. Anna Noyes), and Margaret (m. Walter Palmer). But all I have is names, places, and dates. I understand that there is/was a Frink family farm and that John Frink was among the early settlers of Stonington, but that is the extent of my knowledge. I'd love to know more!
